The new way for Americans to shop for Rx

Blink is growing and we’re sending more patients to more local pharmacies than ever before.

Now online shoppers come to you

Blink is currently accepted at over 33,000 pharmacies nationwide, including regional chains, local grocers and 16,000 community drug stores. We combine the ease of online shopping with the trust and convenience of going to a local pharmacy.
1. Patient pays online and gets a Blink Card.
After a patient pays for their medication on the Blink website or mobile app, they receive a proof of purchase or ID card, called a Blink Card, which they can print out or access on their smartphone.
2. Pharmacist processes Blink as the primary payor.
When the patient arrives at the pharmacy, the pharmacist uses the Member ID, BIN, Group and PCN on the Blink Card to process Blink as the primary payor. Patients must have a valid prescription in order to pick up their medication at the pharmacy.
3. Blue Eagle Health reimburses the pharmacy.
The patient will pay nothing at the counter. Blue Eagle Health reimburses your pharmacy for the medication filled at the contracted rate. Blink aggregates multiple sources of funding. As a result, your pharmacy reimbursement is unrelated to the patient price and will often be greater than what the patient pays.
No clawbacks. There are no administrative fees. No transaction fees. No DIR fees. And definitely no clawbacks.

FAQs

How is my pharmacy reimbursed for medications purchased through Blink?

Our pharmacy benefit administrator, Blue Eagle Health, manages pharmacy reimbursement. Patients pay nothing at the counter and a pharmacy will be reimbursed the entire cost of the claim. Community pharmacies contracted under a PSAO will be paid by their PSAO via their central payment system. Pharmacies that do not utilize central pay will be reimbursed by Blue Eagle Health directly.

As a pharmacist, how do I process Blink?

Process Blink as the primary payor. Ask patients to show you their Blink Card on their phone, which will have a BIN and Member ID number. Patients don’t pay anything at the pharmacy counter.

Why are the patient prices so low?

Blink Health has a variety of funding programs including, manufacturers, loyalty programs, private sources that enable access to low medication prices for patients. However, your pharmacy will always be reimbursed at your pharmacy contracted rate.

What happens if my pharmacy tries to submit a prescription that a Blink patient has not purchased yet?

The claim will reject with secondary messaging instructing the patient to complete his or her purchase.

Does Blink work with my pharmacy’s auto-refill system?

The patient is responsible for authorizing refills. Therefore, auto refill claims will reject until the patient has successfully purchased their medication with Blink.
