Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach/abdominal pain, heartburn, mouth sores, weight loss, dry skin, runny nose, muscle/joint pain, tiredness, or headache may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Temporary hair loss may occur. Normal hair growth should return after treatment has ended.
People using this medication may have serious side effects. However, you have been prescribed this drug because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Careful monitoring by your doctor may decrease your risk.
Severe diarrhea may result in dehydration. Your doctor should prescribe medication for you in case you have diarrhea. Contact your doctor promptly if you notice any symptoms of dehydration, such as unusual decreased urination, unusual dry mouth/thirst, or dizziness/lightheadedness.
This medication may raise your blood pressure. Check your blood pressure regularly and tell your doctor if the results are high.
Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including pain/swelling/redness around the nails, signs of eye problems (such as vision changes, eye redness/pain, eye discharge), signs of kidney problems (such as change in the amount of urine), signs of heart failure (such as shortness of breath, swelling ankles/feet, unusual tiredness, unusual/sudden weight gain).
Get medical help right away if you have any very serious side effects, including fast/irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness, fainting, new or worsening signs of lung disease (such as trouble breathing, chest pain, cough, fever).
Mobocertinib can commonly cause a rash that is usually not serious. However, you may not be able to tell it apart from a rare rash that could be a sign of a severe reaction. Get medical help right away if you develop any rash.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
